Efficient Key Management and Cipher Text Generation Using BCD Coded Parity Bits

Abstract: In this paper we have presented a new symmetric encryption technique where a BCD converter, a four bit parity checker along with a sign function is used to generate the key sequence. In the next subsequent steps the input text and the key sequence are combined using the bitwise OR gate and NOT gate to produce the cipher text easily.
