Abstract-The energy issue is an important parameter in the wireless sensor networks and should be managed in the different applications. We propose a new routing algorithm that it is energy efficient and uses different approaches as dynamic clustering, spanning tree, self-configurable routing and controls energy consuming by data-driven and power management schemas. It has two main phases. The first is consisting of the steady cluster, cluster head election and creation-spanning tree in each cluster and the second phase is data transmission. The proposed protocol is compared with four other protocols in network lifetime, network balance, and average packet delay and packet delivery. Simulation results show the proposed protocol performance in the network lifetime is about 6 per cent higher than Improved-LEACH, 21.5 per cent higher than EESR and 5.8 per cent higher than DHCO. Its improvement in packet delivery parameter is about 3.5 per cent higher than Improved-LEACH, 6.5 per cent higher than EESR and 3 per cent higher than DHCO. In addition, the performance or in packet delay is about 17 per cent higher than EESR and 6 per cent higher than DHCO but Improved-LEACH protocol has a good performance than our protocol about 4 per cent.

Abstract-Disaster information gathering systems are constructed with diverse sensor devices. The flooding situations of the rivers/canals are monitored with the general purpose sensor devices. Congestion and unbalanced energy consumption problems are raised in the WSN due to the many to one communication requirements. Congestion Control and Energy-balanced scheme based on the hierarchy (CcEbH) is applied to manage traffic conditions. The hierarchical topology is build with three types of neighbor nodes. The same hierarchy nodes, upstream nodes and downstream nodes are assigned in the topology construction process. The congestion is detected with the queue length information of the downstream nodes. The congestion avoidance scheme reroutes the data forwarding process to other downstream nodes with energy details. The diversified sensor data collection system is build with topology tree construction and congestion avoidance scheme. Single and multiple sink based data forwarding mechanism is applied in the disaster management process. Integrated index model is used to manage the congestion and energy levels. Data aggregation and event detection tasks are combined in the system.

The scalability and stability in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are considering as an important issue due to the large numbers of nodes and consequently their node density and deployment. While the network size increase, the need of scalable and efficient routing protocols is indispensable. Moreover, sensor nodes have to be alive to guarantee the network operation for the period which the first node died doesn't appear. This period, named network stability region, is ameliorated by many techniques. In fact, the balancing energy consumption and clustering method are among those techniques. In this paper, we present the scalability and stability analysis of the routing protocol LEACH based on K-means clustering algorithm (KLEACH). Accordingly, the simulation results of the performance metrics verify the efficiency and the scalability of KLEACH protocol compared to LEACH.
