Efficient frequency-domain circuit analysis method for switching power converters

Abstract

A new computer-aided analysis algorithm for switching power converters is proposed.The algorithm is simple and efficient for the steadystate analyses of converters because it is a modified form of the harmonic analysis method in frequency-domain. But the switching functions are not described with convolutions of harmonics but with a simple algorithm in time-domain. Some computed examples mainly of voltage type inverters are shown for its applications.
