Efficient and thermally stable broadband near-infrared emission from near zero thermal expansion AlP3O9:Cr3+phosphors

Abstract: A near zero thermal expansion NIR phosphor, AlP3O9:Cr3+, with high emission efficiency and excellent thermal stability is synthesized. A compact NIR pc-LED is fabricated and has a promising application in advanced nondestructive analysis technology.
