“…The evolutionary mechanism of bovine collagen hiding conformation in Na 2 S solution was clarified, whereby its capacity for hydrolysis follows the order NaOH < NaHS < Na 2 S under the same conditions. Researchers further developed a green, high-efficiency processing approach for isolating collagen fiber bundles after pre-swelling bovine hides [71], which was comparable to conventional NaOH preswelling in reducing pollutant load.
