Nos pacientes nos quais se evidenciou a presença de reflexo inibitório reto-anal, não se estabeleceu posteriormente o diagnós-diagnóstica de recém-nascidos, incluindo pré-termos, com atraso de eliminação de mecônio e sintomas de obstrução intestinal baixa, demonstrando-se na literatura sua utilidade diagnóstica na identificação da doença de Hirschsprung 12,[20][21][22][23] .
