Abstract. When estimating the species richness of a taxonomic group in a specific area, the choice of the trapping method is extremely important. In this study the effectiveness of Malaise and Moericke yellow pan traps for collecting flying Ichneumonidae was compared. Samples were collected in 5 habitats in the Cabañeros National Park: pastureland, shrubland and three types of woodland. Two traps of each type were placed in each habitat, and samples collected over a period of one year, replacing the pots every 20 days. The study focused on eleven subfamilies of Ichneumonidae. The results showed that the composition of the Ichneumonidae in the catches of the two traps differed. Malaise traps were more effective in collecting Ichneumonidae in all habitats, but especially in the ash woodland. Moericke traps yielded the most abundant catches in open areas with a wider field of vision. The subfamily Orthocentrinae occurred more frequently in the Moericke yellow traps. The Ichneumonidae caught by both trapping methods differed, especially in the relative abundance of the most common species. When compiling an inventory of species it is extremely important to use a combination of both trapping methods.

Abstract. In this study we analyzed the inter-specific relationships in assemblages of syrphids at a site in northern Italy in order to determine whether there are patterns in diurnal co-occurrence. We adopted a null model approach and calculated two co-occurrence metrics, the C-score and variance ratio (V-ratio), both for the total catch and of the morning (8:00-13:00) and afternoon (13:00-18:00) catches separately, and for males and females. We recorded discordant species richness, abundance and co-occurrence patterns in the samples collected. Higher species richness and abundance were recorded in the morning, when the assemblage had an aggregated structure, which agrees with previous findings on communities of invertebrate primary consumers. A segregated pattern of co-occurrence was recorded in the afternoon, when fewer species and individuals were collected. The pattern recorded is likely to be caused by a number of factors, such as a greater availability of food in the morning, prevalence of hot and dry conditions in the early afternoon, which are unfavourable for hoverflies, and possibly competition with other pollinators. Чернышевского, anikinvasiliiv@mail.ru В статье приводятся результаты использования ловушки Мале-за при исследовании локальной фауны жесткокрылых на терри-тории национального парка «Хвалынский» Саратовской области. Составлен список из 95 видов, относящихся к 32 семействам Coleoptera. Antherophagus pallens (Linnaeus, 1758) и Saperda octopunctata (Scopoli, 1772) приводятся для региона впервые. Экологические группы жесткокрылых в сборах были представ-лены: гидробионтами -3 вида; амфибионтами -2; гигрофиль-ными и мезофильными герпетобионтами -3; мицетобион-тами -4, хорто-и дендробионтами, включая антофильные виды -остальные. Скрытноживущие ксилобионты выделены в отдельную группу -6 видов. По качественным показателям сборы неоднородны -коэффициент сходства по Жаккару < 5%, что, вероятно, связано с сезонными изменениями в колеопте-рофауне района исследований либо с фенологией отдельных видов. Применение ловушки в изучении биоразнообразия от-дельных регионов -это необходимая практика в исследовании экосистем. За 4 года использования ловушки в изучении ло-кальной фауны удалось обнаружить 23 новых для Саратовской области вида жесткокрылых. Применение метода в различных типах зональных и внутризоновых биотопов в регионе, несо-мненно, позволит получить новые интересные результаты. Ключевые слова: жуки, фауна, Поволжье, биоразнообразие, национальный парк.
