This research aims to explore the impact of employment inclusion on poverty alleviation and income equality, identify gaps in the literature, and provide factors that hinder or facilitate employment inclusion in Indonesia. The challenge of this research is the persistence of poverty and economic inequality in Indonesia, despite the country’s rapid economic growth. A qualitative literature review was conducted to analyze existing studies regarding employment inclusion, poverty alleviation, and income equality in Indonesia. The literature review shows a strong correlation between financial inclusion, economic growth, and poverty reduction, especially in high- and middle-income countries. This report examines the relationship between economic growth and poverty alleviation in Indonesia, the impact of education, unemployment, and poverty on income inequality, and the relationship between government spending, microfinance, and poverty in Indonesia. The results of this research contribute to the existing literature by generating and analyzing key findings on employment inclusion, poverty alleviation, and income equality in Indonesia. The Covid-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the economy, including the banking industry. The impact on the banking industry is a decline in the health of banks. One form of bank soundness assessment can be seen from the movement of financial ratios, including Non-Performing Financing (NPF), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return on Assets (RoA), and Operational Expenditure to Operating Income (BOPO), and Financing to Deposits Ratio (FDR). This study aimed to examine the impact of the implementation of banking restructuring policies on the financial performance of Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia. This study used an observation period of 36 months, calculated 1 year before and after the implementation of rules No.11/POJK.03/2020. The sampling method used purposive sampling with 119 observational data samples. Hypothesis testing used the independent Mann-Whitney t-test since the data were not normally distributed. The results showed that the banking restructuring policy could only improve the bank's financial performance, namely CAR and FDR, but not the ratio of NPF, ROA, and BOPO. The contribution of this study can be used as one of the basics for assessing the effectiveness of implementing government policies.

This study aims to measure the productivity of local government spending in alleviating poverty in West Java, Indonesia. The input used were local government spendings per capita, which consists of spending on education, health, economy, social protection, as well as housing and public facilities. The output applied was poverty reduction. The measurements of government spending efficiency and productivity were carried out in 26 local governments in West Java Province in 2018-2020. Malmquist productivity index was applied as analytical method. The results show that the average of TFP (total factor productivity) was 0.965. It shows the low productivity level of local government spending in poverty alleviation. Furthermore, only 12 local governments (46% of 26 local governments) were able to use spending productively in reducing poverty.
