Abstract:INTRODUCTION. A number of studies demonstrate the advantage of bilateral mediastinal lymphadenectomy in surgery of non-small cell lung cancer (nSCLC). For surgical approach to the opposite mediastinum for many years there were proposed sternotomy, video-thoracoscopy, and transcervical video-assisted interventions.
