Abstract:What are the novel findings of this work?In postmenopausal women with an axial uterus, transrectal ultrasound (TRS) is more effective compared with transvaginal ultrasound (TVS) in achieving the optimal angle of insonation relative to the endometrium, resulting in fewer unsatisfactory examinations, significantly lower measurements of endometrial thickness and improved detection of endometrial abnormalities.
