“…Clodinafop propargyl in combination of sodium acifluorfen increased the efficacy for effective control of weeds. The results obtained in the present investigation are in close agreement with the findings of; Singh et al, (2016); Harithavardhini et al (2016); Panda et al, (2017) and Meena (2020).…”

“…This might be because of the ineffectiveness of pendimethalin fb bispyribac‐sodium in suppressing this weed in the field and also due to higher diversity of weed species in unweeded control resulting in less dominance of E. alba . Poor control of E. alba with pendimethalin was also reported earlier by Panda et al (2015). With the application of herbicides, susceptible species are killed and selection pressure is increased for the species which are not susceptible to applied herbicides (Duary, 2008).…”

“…Two hand weeding resulted in good aeration and nutrient availability to crop growth throughout vital crop growth phase due to increased availability of water, space, nutrients to the crop plant and reduce crop-weed competition during the critical crop growth stage. Panda et al (2015) and Kumar et al (2018) were also found the Similar results.…”
