“…Thus, to reduce the ammonia concentration in shrimp farm nitrifying microbial community was applied for better shrimp production (Xu et al 2020). Nitrifying bacteria along with lactobacillus is one of the best probiotic for enhancing fish production and maintenance of water quality parameters like temperature, DO, pH, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate (Karthik et al 2016). Small scale experiments in different aquaculture farms using nitrifying bacteria as probiotics to promote the water quality and reduction in load of pathogenic bacteria were conducted (Padmavathi et al 2012;Barik et al 2018;Baskaran et al 2020).…”

“…In both the control T1 and T2 group, a least cell count of TPC (1.5 to 1.01×106CFU/mL and 1.4 to 1.1 ×106CFU/mL) and TVC (1.1 to 1.01 ×106 CFU/mL) and (1.5 to 1.06 ×106CFU/mL) were observed(Fig3) and that won't made any changes in the growth of the shrimps. Whereas analysing the microbial load in P. monodon and L. Vannamei culture groups (control and infected), bacterial count observed in the shrimp intestine was higher and it was decreased in Lactobacillus sp., AMET1506 and L. acidophilus treated shrimp was reported byKarthik et al, (2015;2014) and Sivakumar et al,(2012). Similar such observations by the previous authors who reported about the effect of lactic acid bacteria on the inhibition of V. harveyi in invitro(Vieira et al, 2007;Vaseeharan and Ramasamy, 2003).…”

“…For leachate treatment and has 40% greater ability than without the addition of bacteria [ 33 ]. Nitrification is a natural water purification process by oxidizing potentially toxic ammonia to non-toxic nitrate, and bacteria Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter play important roles in this process [ 60 ]. Inoculation of nitrifying bacteria can reduce the organic load in the water [ 145 ].…”
