Abstract:Morphological and microstructural properties of silica (SiO2) are essential factors that need to be considered during the experimental applications. In this report, SiO2 nanoparticles (NPs) have been prepared at different concentrations from SiO2 powder derived from olive stones and corncobs by an alkali leaching extraction method. Thermal treatment has been used to modify the morphological and microstructural properties of the extracted SiO2. X-ray diffraction (XRD) shows that the extracted amorphous SiO2 has… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
