A recent systematic review and meta-analysis revealed that the six-food elimination diet (i.e., wheat, milk, eggs, nuts, soy, and seafood) and the four-food group elimination diet (i.e., dairy, eggs, legumes, and wheat) achieve histological remission in 70% and 50% of patients, respectively, without differences between children and adults [112].
