Abstract: Background: The efficacies of nasal continuous positive airway pressure (NCPAP) and nasal intermittent positive pressure ventilation (NIPPV) in neonatal respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) are controversial.The reasons for controversy may be the selection bias of research objects and the small sample size.
