Abstract: Baroreflex activation therapy (BAT) is a possible adjuvant treatment for patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) who remain symptomatic despite optimal medical therapy and may be an alternative therapy in patients with contraindications or drug intolerance.
