Effektive Schmerzreduzierung bei Propofolinjektionen

Abstract:Propofol ist eines der am häufigsten verwendeten Hypnotika in der Anästhesie 1. Es wird vor allem wegen seines günstigen Nebenwirkungsprofils, der Anästhesiequalität und der antiemetischen Wirkung geschätzt. Jedoch wird bei einer relativ großen Anzahl an Patienten ein injektionsabhängiger Schmerz beobachtet 2. Der folgende Beitrag erörtert den Grund für diesen Injektionsschmerz und gibt handlungspraktische Tipps für die Reduktion und Prophylaxe des propofolinduzierten Injektionsschmerzes.
