Abstract:The aim was to analyze the effects of α-humulene in experimental models of Alzheimer’s disease (AD). A sample composed of 33 rats, divided into the NC group: 3 animals, for analysis of normal tissue and behavior, PC: 10 animals submitted to induction of AD by application of β-amyloid, without treatment, HUM: 10 animals submitted to induction of AD and treated with α-humulene, and NHUM: 10 animals submitted to induction of AD and treated with α-humulene nanoparticles.
