“…For all five studied sample suspensions with Al 2 O 3 :EGaIn volume ratios of 40:10, 30:20, 20:30, 10:40, and 0:50 (note: data for the LM-free 50:0 suspension could not be obtained due to the difficulty of loading the highly vitrified sample), the G 0 dominated G 00 in the linear viscoelastic region, indicating that these samples behaved like elastic solids whose shapes were retained under low-shear conditions. At high shear stresses, both the G 0 and G 00 decreased significantly, and the G 00 became dominant over G 0 across the crossover point of both curves (defined as the yield point of the sample; the corresponding stress value is defined as the yield stress, τ y ), 40,41 indicating that the samples flowed as liquids under high-shear conditions. Thus, the results reveal the viscoelastic nature of the studied colloidal precursor suspensions before curing, which is of practical importance in terms of their processing.…”
