The present study is carried out to investigate the effects of shape factor nanoparticles on the oscillatory MHD flow of a nanofluid in two immiscible liquids in a horizontal porous channel with velocity and thermal slip on the walls. Thermal radiation, Joule heating, viscous and Darcy dissipations have been accounted for in the model. We have considered and as nanoparticles, in the lower region (Region-I) and upper region (Region-II) respectively, with water as a base fluid. The effective ratio of thermal conductivity of the nanofluid is evaluated using the Maxwell-Garnetts model. Graphical behavior of velocity, temperature, and rate of heat transfer distributions have been depicted for the cases of slip and no-slip effects. This study has been made to understand the impact of different nanoparticle shape factors on temperature and heat transfer rate. For various parameters, values of shear stress distribution at the walls and the mass flux are shown in tabular form. Our study asserts that with the increase of the strength of the magnetic field, the velocity of the liquid falls and enhances the temperature of the liquid. The influence of different combinations of nanoparticles, on the flow variables, have also been discussed. In order to validate the analytical results, the numerical evaluation of the closed-form results, for the velocity distribution, has been compared with those of the numerical method, by using the NDSolve command in MATHEMATICA, and a good agreement is observed.

This article highlights the study of photothermoelastic interactions in a semiconducting fiber‐reinforced anisotropic medium with temperature‐dependent properties. The model is studied in the context of the photothermal transport process with dual‐phase‐lag theory of generalized thermoelasticity. The governing equations describe the interactions between elastic and plasma thermal waves. The normal mode analysis is employed to procure the exact expressions of the physical fields under investigation. A mechanical load is applied at the outer free surface of the medium to obtain the complete solution of the displacements, stresses, temperature, and carrier density distributions. Numerical results are obtained and displayed graphically with the help of MATLAB software. Some special cases of interest have been deduced from the present study and comparisons are also made among the different theories of thermoelasticity.

This study is focused to discuss the applications of non‐Newtonian fluid in engineering problems. In this article magneto‐hydrodynamics Casson fluid have taken with ramped temperature along an infinite plate with oscillations. In addition, in the present study we have considered the effect of porous media, chemical reaction, and radiation. Mostly, non‐Newtonian fluids uses for the lubrication purposes such as, engine oil, grease, and so forth. In the present study engine oil EO is selected as base fluid due to enormous applications in engineering. To enhance the rate of heat transfer two nanoparticles molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) and graphene oxide (GO) dispersed in EO. To transform the classical model into time fractional model Caputo–Fabrizio derivative have been used. To obtain the exact solutions for the proposed problem the Laplace transform is used. The solutions are depicted through graphs for various parameters to show the influence on fluid flow. Finally, we have compared the rate of heat transfer using different nanoparticles. It is worth noting that by using (MoS2) nanoparticle the heat transfer of engine oil can be enhanced up to 6.35% and by adding GO in regular engine oil the heat transfer can be enhanced up to 5.49%.
