Abstract: Background: Extensive-stage small-cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC) is characterized by extensive metastases, aggressive progression and poor prognosis. Chemotherapy is applied as a preferred first-line regimen for ES-SCLC, but inadequate for improving its overall survival.
