Abstract: Exposure to selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors causes pupillary dilator muscle stimulation, active mydriasis, rapid rise in the level of the intraocular pressure (IOP), damage to the optic nerve at the back of the eye, and ultimately leads to acute angle closure glaucoma.
