Effects of the Violence Experience and Emotional Labor on Burnout among Tertiary Hospital Nurses

Abstract: Objectives: The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of violence experience and emotional labor on burnout among tertiary hospital nurses. This study is a correlation study that tests the relationship between variables. “…In a meta-analysis of 136 studies on workplace violence conducted with 151,347 nurses from a variety of settings, it was found that East Asian and Southeast Asia nurses face a higher level of physical violence from patient families/friends than those in Anglo and European regions [ 15 ].
