Abstract:Arteriotomy/intimectomy and venotomy/intimectomy were performed in the ears of 43 rabbits. Twenty were treated with iloprost given as intravenous doses of 10 micrograms/kg body weight (bw) administered shortly before reperfusion followed by hourly infusions (3 micrograms/kg b w) until 12 hrs after reperfusion.
