“…NNN linkages have been studied across health settings, including acute settings (Kim, 2005;Noh & Lee, 2015;Park, 2014), community settings (Aleandri et al, 2022;Almasalha et al, 2013;Erdogan & Esin, 2006;Kerr et al, 2016;Monsen & Newsom, 2011), home care (Azzolin et al, 2013), and long-term care settings (Johnson et al, 2012;Shin et al, 2020). In terms of the population studied, NNN linkages have been studied for patients with gastrectomy (Park et al, 2009), abdominal surgery (Yoo & Ji, 2001), spinal cord injury (Hughes, 2003), chronic disease (Aleandri et al, 2022;Minthorn & Lunney, 2012), chemotherapy (Song et al, 2014), heart failure (Azzolin et al, 2013), and fall prevention for patients with arterial hypertension (Moreira et al, 2022). For two NANDA-Is of fall risk, the NNN linkages for NH residents at risk of falls (Lucena et al, 2019) validated 13 different nursing outcomes from the NOC and eight different nursing interventions from the NIC.…”
