Effects of temperature on electrochemical dissolution behavior of aluminum foil

Abstract: Electrochemical dissolution behavior of aluminum foil in acid etchants was clearly investigated with different temperatures. Due to the electrochemical activation of temperature, the surface dissolution of aluminum foil in H 2 SO 4 etchant slightly increased with the temperature. Even if NaCl was contained in the H 2 SO 4 solution, the dissolution of aluminum surface and the value of E pit were dependent on the temperature.
