Abstract:In this research, the effects of ultimate strain rate and environmental temperature on the mechanical performance of the aramid fiber bundles were experimentally investigated. The scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) were used to detect the tensile failure mechanism of the aramid fiber bundle.
