“…In rats, place preference conditioning, while limited, has also been reported with a variety of synthetic cathinones, including α-PVP (Nelson et al, 2017, 2021; Nelson, López-Arnau, et al, 2019; Nelson, Manke, et al, 2019), MDPV (Gannon et al, 2017; King, Wakeford, et al, 2015; King, Wetzell, et al, 2015; Risca et al, 2020), mephedrone (Lisek et al, 2012), methylone (Karlsson et al, 2014; Miyazawa et al, 2011), methylethcathinone (MEC; Xu et al, 2016); naphyrone (Danda et al, 2022), and pentylone (Nadal-Gratacós et al, 2021) and are often dose- and sex-dependent. The results reported here are not consistent with this prior work as animals injected with eutylone failed to differ from control subjects in relation to changes in preference for the DPS.…”
