Effects of Supplemental Nucleotides, Taurine, and Squid Liver Paste on Feed Intake, Growth Performance, Serum Biochemical Parameters, and Digestive Enzyme Activities of Juvenile GIFT Tilapia (Oreochromis sp.) Fed Low Fishmeal Diets

Abstract

As from January 2010 The Israeli Journal of Aquaculture-Bamidgeh (IJA) will be published exclusively as an on-line Open Access (OA) quarterly accessible by all AquacultureHub (http://www.aquaculturehub.org) members and registered individuals and institutions. Dietary inclusion effect of various levels of jack mackerel meal on the growth performance, feed efficiency and whole body composition of rockfish (Sebastes schlegeli)

Dietary inclusion of any feed stimulants (the mixture of nucleotides, taurine or squid liver paste) had no effect on HSI of tilapia (Zou et al, 2016). Tusche et al (2011) also demonstrated that HSI of rainbow trout was not affected by either dietary concentrations or sources of feed attractants.…”
