“…It was found that the gas compression from the detonation and reflected wave lead to a sharp increase in the blade wall temperature, while the oblique excitation wave changes the trajectory of the airflow, which results in deviations in the airflow direction from the incident. Shen et al 35 numerically studied a rotating blast combustion chamber with three supersonic guide vane structures and compared it with a benchmark operating condition without a nozzle guide vane. They found that the aligned structures have the best‐combined performance of nonconstant damping, flow regulation, total pressure gain, and useful work production.…”
