“…Hvolby (2020) has previously reported fewer behavior problems, especially in relation to school, when children with ADHD use weighted blankets [ 33 ], which may be one reason for the increased participation at school seen in our study. Persistent sleep problems among children with ADHD are known to be associated with impaired academic performance [ 50 , 51 , 52 ], and impaired child–teacher relationships and greater conflicts between the child and the teacher [ 16 ].
