“…The degree of protein oxidation is inversely proportional to the sulfhydryl content (Wang et al, 2019a(Wang et al, , 2019b; in the present study, the activity/total sulfhydryl content was higher in the ES-treated group than in the control group (P < 0.05), and the sulfhydryl content increased with increasing current intensity (except for free sulfhydryl at 4 days).
