Abstract: In material science, there are several methods for detecting elemental content in a material (sample) such as X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), (X-Ray Diffraction) XRD, (Scanning Electron Microscope) SEM, (Transmission Electron Microscope) TEM), etc. Non-metallic samples such as gemstone can be detected by XRF and XRD methods.
