Effects of Nutritional Support on the Quality of Life of Cancer Patients

Abstract: Nutritional deficiency develops in approximately 40% of cancer patients. 1 Cancer malnutrition increases toxicity in treatment, leading to inadequate treatment response, poor quality of life, and poor prognosis. More than 20% of cancer patients die because of nutritional complications rather than primary diseases. 2
