“…When the N concentration was too low or too high, photosynthesis was inhibited. These results were in accordance with the findings in Handroanthus heptaphyllus (Berghetti et al, 2021) and Cyclocarya paliurus (Qin et al, 2021). It was suggested that within a certain range, the application of N can increase the leaf area and SLA of plants, enhance the efficiency of capturing solar radiation, and thus enhancing photosynthesis (Seepaul et al, 2016).…”

“…P is an important component of enzymes required for plant photosynthesis and ATP (Shan et al, 2020). While N is the main component of chlorophyll, about 60% of the total N in leaves exists in chloroplasts, which can regulate the activities of enzymes related to the photosynthetic electron transport chain (Berghetti et al, 2021;Qin et al, 2021), and the increase of plant N content within a certain range would promote photosynthesis (Berghetti et al, 2021). Therefore, the promotion of symbiotic plant growth by AMF is closely related to the improvement of plant nutrition and the enhancement of plant photosynthesis, which was in accordance with the results of this study.…”

“…Mattos, which belongs to the Bignoniaceae family and is popularly known as ipê-roxo, is one such tree species with phytoremediation potential. The species has significant ecological and economic value, making it useful for afforestation and urban landscaping projects (Berghetti et al, 2021). They are also commonly used in reforestation programs and to restore degraded areas (Silva et al, 2021).…”

“…Native tree species such as Handroanthus heptaphyllus (Vell.) Mattos (popularly known in Brazil as ipê-roxo tree or ipê-rosa) are often used in projects focused on reforestation processes, environmental preservation, recovery of degraded areas, urban afforestation and landscaping [1][2][3]. H. heptaphyllus grows quickly and presents a long cylindrical stem, high-density wood, resistance and durability [3,4].…”
