Effects of nitrite on hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury

Abstract: Aim: Hepatic ischemia-reperfusion (IR) injury is a major complication associated with liver transplantation and surgery. The aim of this study is to investigate the cytoprotective effects of nitrite on hepatic IR injury.
