“…Furthermore, this study did not analyze the cultural characteristics and prevalence [58], which would have allowed us to more clearly discriminate the quality of the psychometric instruments. In future research, we intend to quantify the prevalence by country, explore the role of cultural phenomena, and investigate variables related to the independent living skills and autonomy of children who do not commit VFP, as well as different protective and preventive factors [59] and the use of positive conflict resolution strategies [60,61]. Finally, in the meta-analysis, several studies were eliminated for not meeting the criteria of 10 participants per item [62,63].…”

“…Not in vain, the study of coparenting began by examining how the quality of the relationship that parents maintain when they have divorced influences their children [13][14][15][16]. It has been shown that when parents maintain a good relationship, their parental behaviors are positive, and the coparenting is harmonious; in addition to having advantages for themselves, it has clear advantages for their children, directly affecting their physical and psycho-emotional well-being [4,[17][18][19][20][21][22], demonstrating that it is a powerful protective factor [2], for example, against addictions [4]. Often, when parents are separated or divorced, the consequences on their children are negative and contrary to these [2,4,[13][14][15][16].…”

“…Consequently, since the seven factors of the CRS represented four theoretical domains (see Feinberg [9]), Plá confused domains with factors and requested four factors. Plá [37] finally concludes that the factors that make up the dimensional structure of the CRS-r are four, and demonized Support received or Coparenting strength (items 2, 3,6,10,17,19,24,25,26,27,28, and 30 that correspond to the original scales Coparenting Closeness, Coparenting Support and Coparenting Agreement), Exposure to Conflict (for items 24-28, this factor remains fully equivalent to the factor of the original scale of the same name), Agreement-non-sabotage (items 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 21, and 22, which correspond to the original scales Coparenting Agreement and Coparenting Undermining), and Support given or solidarity (items 1,4,5,7,14,18,20,23,31,32,33 that correspond to the original scales Endorse Partner Parenting and Division of Labor-it is necessary to remember that three more items were added to this factor). Item 29 of the original scale appeared unloaded and was the only item that was decided to be eliminated.…”
