“…This is an indication that there are no readily available markets and that farmers are not linked to buyers. This confirms the assertions of [19] that farmers are in need of market linkages. The high level of losses during marketing could also be for the fact that farmers find difficult to carry their produce home at the close of the day, instead they chose to dispose it at any price or better still abandon them in the market place in other not to spend another money carrying them home.…”
