Abstract: The effects of water injection on flame surface topology and local flame propagation characteristics have been analyzed for statistically planar turbulent n-heptane spray flames with an overall (i.e., liquid + gaseous) equivalence ratio of unity using carrier-phase direct numerical simulations.
