Effects of Ionizing Radiation and their Potential Risk on the Brain: A Review

Abstract: The brain is considered as one of the most radioresistant organ in the body. However, more and more studies start to question this resistance. The aim of this paper is to briefly review the current available data regarding the impact of ionizing radiation on the brain with a focus on epidemiological/clinical studies.
