Abstract:In this paper, Ni was introduced into the matrix of carbon fiber reinforced SiOC (C/SiOC) composites by the precursor infiltration and pyrolysis method to catalyze the generation of in situ formed nanostructures including carbon nanotubes (CNTs), turbostratic carbon, and SiC.
