Abstract: The use-dependent effects of cibenzoline, a new anti-arrhythmic drug, on the maximal rate of rise (Vmax) of the action potential and on conduction velocity, and their corresponding recovery kinetics were studied in isolated papillary muscles of guinea pigs under normal and hypoxic conditions.
