Abstract

Background: Psychosocial interventions are increasingly used in psychiatric patient. One of the modalities of this approach is use of animals, e.g., horses.

Equine-assisted therapy and practitioner´s well-being in the context of physical and mental health: a systematic review

This allowed to conclude that equine-assisted therapy is a useful psychotherapeutic strategy for people with schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders (SEREDOVA et al, 2016).…”
