Effects of GMI-1070, a Pan-Selectin Inhibitor, on Leukocyte Adhesion In Sickle Cell Disease: Results From a Phase 1/2 Study

Abstract: 262 Adhesion molecules are critically involved in the pathophysiology of sickle cell disease (SCD). A growing body of evidence from animal models and humans supports the role of selectin-mediated cell adhesion in the pathophysiology of vaso-occlusion.
