“…Serum levels of TXA2 and PGI2 were significantly lower in the flurbiprofen than in the dezocine group, indicating that flurbiprofen axetil can significantly affect the inflammatory response and blood coagulation. This finding is consistent with the results reported by Jiang et al , who found that flurbiprofen axetil can reduce the level of TXA2 ( 23 ). IL-6 level was positively correlated with VAS scores.…”

“…Flurbiprofen axetil preconditioning improves neurological function and neuronal survival, which is associated with inhibition of IL‐β, TNF‐α, and TXB2 synthesis (Wu et al, ). Flurbiprofen axetil has been found to demonstrate a high affinity for inflammatory tissues due to its lipid microsphere system (Jiang et al, ). These findings indicated the potential mechanism of inhibiting COX and proinflammatory cytokine release for COX inhibitors to prevent the occurrence of POD in the brain and CNS as a postoperative analgesic.…”

“…Although the use of flurbiprofen axetil was not associated with long-term survival, we found an additive effect of dexamethasone and flurbiprofen axetil in prolonging postoperative survival, possibly due to relieved immunosuppression action in patients after cancer surgery. 37 39 Considering the widespread use of these 2 drugs during the perioperative period, their effects in particular long-term effects on lung cancer patients indeed need to be explored further.…”
