This study focuses on China’s industrial transformation and urban income inequality. It is shown that between 2011 and 2020, improvements in China’s industrial structure have a significant positive influence on lowering income gaps between urban and rural areas when used in conjunction with the empirical research approach. The mechanical study shows that the urban population impacts this causation. Rural-to-urban economic gaps have been reduced through modernisation in different parts of the country. The result remains the same even if the urban–rural consumption gap is used as a proxy for income discrepancy. The mechanism for the industrial structure upgrading model (MISUM) is proposed in this article for the modern circulation industry. Key contributions include: (1) environmental rules in these components have no impact on each other, but the updating of industrial buildings indicates a substantial location-specific dependence; (2) environmental standards have impacts on industrial structures throughout provinces; and (3) environmental standards have a long-term qualifying impact on the industrial structures. This essay focuses on combining environmental regulation with industrial expansion in different regions. In this study, government environmental requirements for industrial structural improvements are shown to be in operation. The test results show the MISUM has been described with high accuracy of 94.2%, carbon emission level of 18%, soil emission level of 11% and efficiency ratio of 97.8% compared to other methods.

Since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, the manufacturing industry has been crucial for economic growth. China’s manufacturing activity began after China approved and opened legal reform to the rest of the world in 1978. There are usually three stages of development, including the catch-up period. At the same time, they reflect the private economic sector, manufacturing, and foreign exchange industries, and the opening up to the international markets. This advancement comes along with high energy consumption, leading to a high rate of pollution. Therefore, this study provides a detailed overview of the “Made in China 2025” pilot target and implementations of policies to achieve a carbon-neutral goal. We assessed the efficiency of implementing policies in the Chinese manufacturing sector and recommended decision-making policies to achieve the “Made in China 2025” plan and the 2030 carbon-neutral goal. The Quantitative Strategic Programming Matrix (QSPM) and SWOT analysis matrix were used to put forward some development strategies to transform and upgrade China’s manufacturing industry by combining relevant strategic theories. This study is significant in terms of energy-saving and carbon emission-reducing policy implementations for the Chinese manufacturing industry. In addition, we suggested some measures to achieve a sustainable environment in line with carbon-neutral policies.

Energy modeling and cutting parameter optimization of the machining process have been recognized as powerful and effective ways to save energy. However, in the actual machining process, technologists often use empirical methods to determine the final cutting parameters. Due to the lack of theoretical support and optimization tools, this method is difficult to fully consider the constraints of machine tool capability, cutting tool performance, and workpiece material, which affects the overall performance of the machine tool to give full play. To address this problem, a multi-objective parameter optimization method of computer numerical control (CNC) plane milling for sustainable manufacturing was proposed in this paper. More specifically, three tasks were carried out: (1) an accurate milling energy model considering transient processes such as spindle acceleration was established; (2) a multi-objective parameter optimization model of CNC plane milling was established with cutting parameters as optimization variables and considering various complex constraints; (3) by drawing 3D surface maps, the internal relationship between the cutting parameters and the optimization index was presented in detail and intuitively. Finally, a case study was carried out in the XHK-714F vertical machining center. The results showed that the processing efficiency is improved by 21.0%, the energy consumption is reduced by 15.3%, and the surface roughness is reduced by 5.5% through the optimization of cutting parameters, which verified the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed model and method.
