“…For this, as Table 1 shows, the PT/N20 and PT/N20+5P blends contain an agent for initiating grafting and crosslinking reactions (di-2-tert-butylisopropyl benzene) and a polyfunctional monomer (trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate) which possessed high reactivity; this can undergo free radical grafting reaction on the polymer chain producing a network structure. 19,20…”

The rotor speed was 30 r/min in the first 2 min and increased to 80 r/min for the next 5 min.…”

“…The T max values of the second peak, which represented the melting peak, tended to shift toward the lower temperatures depending on the GMA content and the radiation dose. 30 This was attributed to an increase in the rate of degradation caused by exposure to higher radiation levels. The crosslinking between GMA-PEI and TMPTA was due to two endothermic processes and was indicative of the occurrence of multiple reactions during the crosslinking process.…”

“…Sipaut et al 13 proved the crosslinking efficiency of the polyfunctional monomer is related to the nature of the matrix polymer and the types of functional groups in the polyfunctional monomer. Ahmed et al 32 reported that the gel contents of EVA blend containing the polyfunctional monomers as crosslinking promoters such as tripropylene glycol diacrylate, TMP, and pentaerythritol tetraacrylate (PETA), increased more significantly than that of EVA blend. With the increase in the amount of polymer monomer, the gel content increased gradually and tighter network structures were produced by enhancing blend crosslinking 25,33,34 .…”
