“…Extant research focused on the application of each of the five dimensions of KM (namely, knowledge creation, knowledge storage, knowledge sharing, knowledge accessibility, knowledge application) to KM practices such as application to business processes and information technologies (Rechberg and Syed, 2014). While some studies on KM focus on innovation and creativity and firm performance (Inkinen, 2016), some were related to the commitment of top management teams (Keramati and Azadeh, 2007), some examine the role of foreign domestic investment on innovation in developing countries (Yıldırım and Arun, 2019) and some examine the interaction between human resources, technologies and techniques (Bhatt, 2001). What is important to consider is to examine the role of KM on the cognitive process of individuals, which, in turn, influence the organizational performance.…”

“…Knowledge as rational (rational thinking), emotional (subjective responses to external uncertainties) and spiritual (values and beliefs regarding organizational existence) carries value and requires retention (Bratianu and Bejinaru, 2020;Durst and Zieba, 2019). Although, alliances between indigenous and international partners boost innovations and performance; however, in such partnerships, evidence for knowledge spillovers have also been noted (Arun and Yıldırım, 2017;Yıldırım and Arun, 2019). Knowledge loss in collaborative ventures is probably one of the most challenging confronts for any enterprise as the spill-over leaves the focal firm vulnerable to a number of issues including survival (Durst and Ferenhof, 2014;Alvarez and Barney, 2001).…”
