Effects of Dilution and Pressure on Detonation Propagation Across an Inert Layer

Abstract: In explosion accidents, inert layer(s) can be used to dampen or suppress detonation propagation. In detonation engines, the detonation may propagate in an inhomogeneous mixture with inert layer(s).
