This article presents an analysis of the potential forest damage that occurred due to the COVID-19 pandemic in rural communities on the Forest Management Unit (FMUs). It focused on forest utilization and deforestation before and during the epidemic. Base on The data on online surveys using Google form instruments, Zoom meetings, and in-depth telephone interviews with the informants. The data of the research were analyzed descriptively using the mind mapping method. The data analysis shows that social and economic impacts potentially enhance the threat of forest resource utilization-increasing pressure on the forest due to the increase in forest product demand. Even though the government made efforts to minimize forest degradation and prevent illegal logging, the communities didn't follow the policy because there were no alternative solutions. The timber logging is carried out into a threat to forest degradation when it's not immediately prevented. The FMU needs to improve access to rural living near the forest to increase their forest income. These solutions are crucial for reducing illegal logging activities and forest degradation in the pandemic.

This cross-sectional study was conducted on 1139 Muslims in Indonesia. Attitudes and practices were assessed using a questionnaire developed by researchers referring to the main points of the MUI fatwa. Of the 1139 participants, 73.5% were academics, and 63.8% held bachelor's degrees and higher, while gender and age-group comparisons were balanced. The average score of attitudes and practices about was 60.57 out of 70 and 5.35 out of 7. In general, the results of this study indicate that Indonesian Muslims have positive perceptions and submissive attitudes towards the MUI fatwa.

During this global pandemic, researchers around the world are trying to find out innovative technology for a smart healthcare system to combat coronavirus. The evidence of deep learning applications on the past epidemic inspires the experts by giving a new direction to control this outbreak. The aim of this paper is to discuss the contributions of deep learning at several scales including medical imaging, disease tracing, analysis of protein structure, drug discovery, and virus severity and infectivity to control the ongoing outbreak. A progressive search of the database related to the applications of deep learning was executed on COVID-19. Further, a comprehensive review is done using selective information by assessing the different perspectives of deep learning. This paper attempts to explore and discuss the overall applications of deep learning on multiple dimensions to control novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Though various studies are conducted using deep learning algorithms, there are still some constraints and challenges while applying for real-world problems. The ongoing progress in deep learning contributes to handle coronavirus infection and plays an effective role to develop appropriate solutions. It is expected that this paper would be a great help for the researchers who would like to contribute to the development of remedies for this current pandemic in this area.
